For my rear axle what would be the best locker to use?

Let us know you budget & how/where you wheel. Prices are like opinions...... Huge range....

I run air lockers... Not wallet friendly.

I have a rear Lokka locker. If I do an axle build I might just spool it next time. Or if I had crazy money do a selectable. If your looking for a lunch box get the cheapest one they are all the same IMHO. No problems with my rear locker it just seems to lock up almost all the time so you might as well spool.

I have a lockrite up front and a Yukon mini spool in the rear.. No issues with either of them.

I figure if I can smoke 33x12.5's on pavement and the mini spool didn't break, it should hold up to anything I put it agenst off-road.

I'm in CT we get plenty of ice and snow it's better in the snow with the rear locker, at least you know when it's going to oversteer. Ice is ice unless you chain up or have studs your kind of effed open or locked.

Go ected, it will give you limited slip under normal driving conditions and is great on snow or wet surfaces and with the flip,of a switch it's a locker...

Ice is the only reason I haven't got a lunchbox locker. Ice is abundant in the high country of colorado. Im thinking I might pull the trigger now that I bought a siping iron....

Not to get off subject but ...

Can we see a video of that especially if your not using your brakes...what engine upgrades have you done? I can spin first, catch a second and chirp a third in my yj but never been able to smoke them and I'm running a pretty trick engine and a currie 9 inch rear in a light yj with 33's.

Not doubting just wondering what my next upgrades should be, I'm getting ready to start a xj.

Ected is piece of crap. It NEVER mechanically locks your axle shafts together.

I'm sure I could get some vids. Lol

Clutch drop will get them spinning pretty good, but when I said I smoked them I was power breaking. It's sitting about 7" of lift in the rear, I have to be carful or it will get some mean wheel hop. Old pic but gives you an idea of the stance of my xj.

Stock 4.0HO, I'm running a built d44 with chromo shafts, not sure how a smaller rear end would hold up.
If you want power, stroke that 4.0 out.
Sorry for the hijack.
