Default Lift and axel swap to my comanche

Hey guys. I have a 87 jeep comanche with a i6, ax15 tranny, and a 231 t-case. Picked up the truck for 100 bucks last week, and its only got 50k miles!! So anyways im guna be buying a pair of axels to throw under it. Im swapping out the dana 30 and 35 for a Chrysler 8.25 and a dana 30 hp. So heres my question. Im picking up spring perches for the rear, and springs, control arms, and track bar for the front. Also shocks all the way around. Is that all i need? Also how hard of a job is this? Im working with pretty basic hand tools, but i do have some air tools as well. Do you guys think that will be enough? Thanks for all the help!

Grats on the MJ!

You'll need something to eat rust. With 50k I wouldn't imagine there'd be much, though for $100 I'd think that there was more rust than steel!

Why are you swapping the front axle? To get rid of the vac disconnect?

Brake lines and something to fix potential driveline vibrations

Thanks! Im swapping the front end to get rid of the vacuum disconnect, and to match the fear ratio to the rear. My axels are coming out of a 98 cherokee with an auto tranny. So im assuming the gearing will be different.

Theres actually not much in terms of rust. The truck was coated in "tuff-coat dinol rustproofing". Of course im doing break lines though because i have all the materials to do it, and there were a couple spots of concern.

Well that makes sense then. You'll get the whole kit-and-caboodle.

Yeah unless you like your axle sticking out to one side and rubbing on your fenders lol. I presume by "links" you mean lower control arms?

$100 Comanche! I scrapped my parts comanche for like $275. Why don't cheap vehicles exist near me?

At least a trac bar relocation bracket and longer control arms would be a plus. Shocks maybe f150 springs if you on a budget.

My parts comanche cost me $500. It was missing the lower part of the frame from rot. The floor was GONE. I stripped the interior, wire harness, and any decent part under the hood. Took the cat, starter, and alternator to a different scrapper and scrapped the body for $275.

Yes by links i mean control arms. Sorry ive been in the rc crawler hobby for hears so i got those terms stuck in my head haha. How much lift would the f150 springs give me? Because i am on a budget. Right now my pay check is about 150 a week and i have to walk to work because my jeep isnt on the road. So im realy just trying to get this thing together, but do it right the first time.
