Default Injectors

I know there is a thread on this but i absolutely hate the search function on this site. There was a thread that showed what year xj's needed what injectors whether it being the 703 or whatever the other number was. it also broke down what the injectors came out of! Anybody know where this post is? Thanks!

91-98 uses 703 injectors, 99-06 uses 784 injectors. Not sure what renix uses for the injectors.

The injectors come out of 4 bangers Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge vehicles such as caravans, neons, sirrus, and I forgot what else.

They are exact the same. Only difference is the connections. 91-98 got ev-1 plugs and 99-up uses ev-6 plugs

This?

Fuel Injectors???-jeep-cherokee-injector-upgrade.jpg

Also to clear up a bit of terminology:

EV1 and EV6 refer to the injector body type. The connectors are called JETRONIC and USCAR.

- Renix and OBD-I XJs were built with EV1 injectors with JETRONIC connector.
- Early OBD-II XJs (until 1998 model year) were built with EV6 injectors with JETRONIC connector.
- 1999+ were built with EV6 injectors with USCAR connector.

The 703s and 784s are both EV6 bodies, just different connectors.

Jeep KJ Liberty 3.7L V6 uses an EV12 injector with USCAR connector. They're another upgrade possibility.

If you're going to the junk yard don't be fooled by 782s.

Well thank u for clarifying some of the wordings up.

I wasn't sure if renix used 703's, always thought they used mustang injectors, and I didn't want to put out wrong information so I didn't include renix
