You're going to get responses from everybody. This argument is the same as any other "this vs that" branding.
Optima moved manufacturing to Mexico so the story goes (and there's likely some evidence to support it) that their quality took a crap.
If you're in the anti-optima crowd for whatever reason then you're likely to hear suggestions for Deka, Odyssey or even the Sears Diehard Marine which is essentially an Optima Blue Top with vertical aux posts which make accessory mounting easy peasy. I'm probably going to snag a sears marine for the simplicity of being able to add low-draw accessories to the aux posts in a clean fashion.

Questions to ask youself:
1) Does it start my Jeep?
2) Can I afford this battery?
3) Is my Alternator in good working order?
4) Are all my battery connections and wiring clean and properly connected.
5) Are all of my fuses in good working order?
As long as you awnsered yes to these questions, any decent (I mean from a reputable dealer/supplier and not Pedro's House of Batteries brand) battery will work. The alternator is what actually keeps the vehicle running after starting. Hence the questions about your wiring, terminals and alternator.

If I had a winch, and even if I didn't, I'd be going here for upgrade cables no matter what battery I used.

I had no issues with my optima red top- winch/subs/kc lights and all. I also do not have any problems with my autozone gold top that I have currently. (no subs anymore). Like Outlaw Star said, as long as everything is running correctly, any brand name will do.

Buy any quality battery most are built in the same factory anyway. I upgraded my alt., battery wiring and all grounds for 10 Hella lights plus a 9.5 winch. I used an AutoZone battery a top of the line 84 mo. warranty for mine works OK.
