If you want to just replace them go to Autozone and drop about 70 on each one. On the forum x91j and many others sell injectors out of older dodge or Chrysler cars. For your year model, you need the "703" injectors. They are a direct fit into the head where yours are now. They are said to give an increase in MPG, give a steadier idle and better throttle response. I run them but i havent noticed any MPG increase but the other two have improved. If you use these you need to reset you ECU or it will learn after about 50 starts, but during that time youll experience rough driving and MPG, or at least i did. There is a thread in the For Sale section about injectors from a Jeep Liberty and how they work but idk much about those. For any other info you can use your neighborhood friendly search button

Default Injector Swap

It depends on what your goals are (do I sound like your father?). If you plan on staying at or near stock on the engine, then you want an injector that has at or near flow to the stock injectors. If you plan on engine mods to gain 10-20% more power, then you need an injector that will flow that much more fuel. The Bosch 703s from a Neon flow about 20% more fuel when wide open than the stock ones do. The injectors from a Liberty flow about 3% more than stock. The big gain from swapping injectors comes from going from the single hole injector that shoots one stream of fuel to the new 4 hole types that shoot four finer streams of fuel. Any of the Bosch EV6 or EV14 injectors will do this.

If you want to swap in 784s (same as 703's with a USCAR plug) or 021s (Liberty), you will need to run connector adapters for the plug ins.

If you have additional questions, it would be better to PM me.

X2 on precision injectors! BUY THEM!

I have been running his injectors for about a year now and haven't noticed to much in performance but a slight increase in mileage and throttle response but it did smooth my idle out its now dead steady.
:-)

I've installed 3 sets with the same results. Don't expect some big gain in fuel mileage, for sure.

To me, one of the best reasons to get them is that the originals, at least in the Renix Jeeps, were made by Siemens-Deka and were prone to leaking externally and causing fires. Cheap insurance for $100 in my book.

There are guys on the site selling them for anywhere from $45 to $100 for 6. Precision has a set of 6 for $140 right in that link posted above. REALLY high price in my opinion, ESPECIALLY considering you can got to a junk yard and get injectors for like $5 buck each. Doesnt take a whole lot to test, clean and rebuild. For $50 bucks you can have a REALLY NICE set of injectors.

If youve got the money to blow, go to a parts store and buy new ones for $75 each.

These are the ones I'm currently running.

The increase in mileage was only slight IMO I don't think they are worth the $$$. Did smooth my rough idle out :-)

Diddly squat in mileage increase. Smoother idle, better throttle response, reduced chance of fire on earlier Jeeps. If fuel mileage is your primary reason for getting the upgraded injectors, don't waste your time or money.

I think the Renix and early HO injectors are about $100 from Precision but the later models are more expensive. In your 2001, run a can of BG 44K through a full tank of gas.
