It may, but I would figure put why your truck is wobbling in the first place.
If all your parts are good, and your steering geometry isn't off it shouldn't even need a damper.
Hydro assist is typically used to assist in turning large tires while crawling.

Anyone else tried this or something else. I need to get rid of this wobble before it brakes something or it causes a wreck. I have checked all my steering components/ had an alignment done.

I've seen a lot of bad tires cause death wobble. the side wall has a "soft" spot and can cause the tire to walk left and right which transfers threw the steering and causes death wobble. how are your tires?
Most of the time its a loose component or geometry problem. negative caster is a big contributor to it as well.
A hydraulic ram or "hydro assist" is really a big steering dampener with a controlled fluid direction that can also push/pull the steering where ever you want it under binding situations.
hydraulic assist, and steering dampeners are not death wobble fixes. they cover up the real problem.

What are your tires like? Could be an addative to your problem.
Mine was better after replacing parts but still not perfect. Now I'm just waiting on funds for tires.

you can also rotate your tires front to back. if it goes away then the bad tire is in the back. but if you have bad tires it may not go away lol

I had the tires rotated when it got the alignment.
Could it be a possible the the bar that comes from the pitman arm to the passenger side wheel is to weak and is flexing causing the wobble.

Oem is like $50.
I replaced the entire thing. Along with the v8 zj tie rod and end. So much stronger. Tightened steering play up a lot.
