i never ment to disrespect anyone who has serverd our country or our military that was never my intention. if you would like to take my apology, i would gladly give it. for those of you who say they would like for me to be shot or want to rip my head off... um.. yea.. ok, ill pm u my address if youd like. what i think is worse is someone poseing to have served our country.. i mean seriously if someone can join the military and cant even spell, that tells you a lot oh wait "alot" (like he said).. but ok "enuff" is "enuff", my apologies to the real men who have served out country, and that is not a joke.
yes i'll take your apology, ....and as far as me not being able to spell? sorry im used to talking on facebook and aim and that is chat lingo for those of you that dont know that....also you shouldn't judge me if i was in the military or not with the way i type....i just chat with alot of people over the internet and that is how i type just like everyone else ....but as far as the lift i will prolly go with the k5 blazer if i want something bigger....i will use the cherokee til about this summer and then go buy a blazer....but keep the jeep so i can do some trail riding with my jeep club.....i am just wanting something that i could go to the local bogs with and i didn't know if it was wise to lift a cherokee or to just get a blazer or something....the people that have helped me and gave me much needed advice thanks...

i agree, there has been a lot of unnecessary and disrespectful comments in this thread. very uncalled for. we are not here to personally attack anyone on this forum, it's in the rules.
a mod should get in here and clean this thread up, then lock it permanently.
kudo's to you for serving your country. you deserve the utmost respect.
spelling abilities doesn't make a great person, good character and persona makes a person great.

K5 is a good starting point but the stock axles won't come close to holding 44s either. D60 and 14 bolt from a K3500 will bolt in with minimal effort. If you can find a set out of a CUCV (don't get the 10 bolt front version) you get factory 4.56s and a rear detroit.

It's CUCV and google is your best friend cause I don't remember what it stands for but it's the military/govt version of 3/4 and 1 ton Chevy trucks and Blazers. They come with a non turbo 6.2 that is a turd, a turbo 400 tranny and 208 t-case. Not much good there but the axles are great. 3/4s have a 10 bolt/14 bolt setup with 4.56s and rear Detroit and 1 tons have a 60 front/ 14 bolt rear with rear Detroit and rarely a front Detroit.
ya i have looked those vehicles up ...i didn't know what they were called but seen them all the time down in jacksonville...never got to be around one or drive one thoe
what is the towing capacity of the blazer and the truck....bc if it is more then my waggy i may just lift my waggy and use that to haul it ....thanks...

They are 3/4 and 1 ton with diesels so at least twice what a waggy is rated at. The diesel is a non turbo so it's a turd off the line but works fine once you get going. Just FYI it's basically the same as what is in H1s. You can get a turbo kit for them. You can get the truck versions with less than 100k for around 2500 bucks.
