ok so i have a chrysler 8.25 29spline at 456 with a detroit locker! i just swapped the entire axle into my jeep! now the first 2 ish weeks i would turn corners and it would sound like a mild rollercoaster, and the tires would squeak. now i can do sharp 360s over and over and it sounds like a regular axle, no rollercoaster noise, or tire squealing.... how can i tell if its engaging???

What, what? See if you leave two strips instead of one. I've grown so used to my locker that I don't even notice it anymore on the street. Probably what you're experiencing.

Doing cookies in an XJ is always awesome until you catch traction and get thrown sideways as the whole Jeep pitches 30* sideways. I've only done them on snow lol anything else is scary
