Problem with these lights is they don't get hot. And in Colorado where I live, they will not keep ice off of the lenses. I bought my HID conversion kit with auto pal lights from www.Coolbulbs.com Andrew is amazing to work with. And I only paid $190 for everything!

I had the same prob with my LED trucks lights also up here in Alaska. when the snow fall was heavy the lights would just fill up with snow and block all light. I ditched them and went Autopal upgrade with new wire harness, now all snow melts away.

Good price. Never had a problem with the TL LEDs, been in 4ft of snow. Nothing seems to stick to mine. They work fine and are brighter than the best H4s with ARB wiring harness. Also they are waterproof. Had them submerged many times.

The water proof part would be nice. But I can't see spending $400+ for lights :-/

I waterproofed my Auto Pals and have had my jeep in water up past the tires pushing through water. They did not fill up with water at all every time i cross that part of the river for hunting season.

P.S And for those ppl who say no you did not, I have a spectra cowl air intake so yes i did push water with my grill lol

Good to know! Thanks! I do have the HIDs though, but the ballast are waterproof so I should be good if I do that.

To be fair, my stock halogens couldn't melt the ice/snow fast enough during the recent blizzard here in the northeast. I had to stop and clear the headlights every 30 or so miles on the NJ turnpike because I had literally no light output.

yeah my 96 has stock halogen and they won't melt snow real well ,because stock bulbs are 60/55W. My bulbs in the 2000 are upgraded H4 bulbs 5000k at 80/100W and they melt snow.
I feel for the lower 48 we sent our winter to you LOL

There's isn't any light output on stock lights! Don't be silly. Lol.

Lol true. Anyways, has anyone else received their order, or a shipping notice, or heard anything at all? What's the latest news?

Latest news was an email I posted a week or so back. I know 3-4 people put in to cancel. So that means I'll get my lights faster ! In the mean time I have a lift for my YJ to wait on and install along with a soft top, and trading my hardtop for some axles with 4.10's waiting on my wheels and tires to arrive also. So it'll keep me busy for a few weeks

Wishful thinking.

Anyways he emailed me Monday telling me my lights already shipped that day via USPS when I requested a cancellation. He said he could do a call back but I told him not to worry about it if they already shipped I can just sell them on here if need be. Anyways he didn't provide me with tracking. But I usually don't think it takes a full week for USPS to get from WA to MA.

You could probably sell a set of his lights for more than $200 honestly considering the wait times and increased price. Put them up in the FS section at like 300 shipped and I'll bet you someone buys them... ROFL
