In December last year, I put in an upgraded harness and H4 lights. The headlights are now only working intermittently,. All other lights work, but headlights both stop together. All connections look good. Any suggestions?

 

Clean all connections and "grounds" and use dielectric grease on them, then see what you have. All relays/fuses good also?

 

I assume relays and fuse are OK since they work sometimes. probably a ground or something loose I haven't found, but was wondering if anyone else had had any issues.

 

Update: although it couldn't be seen from the outside, the fuse holder must have been bad. The 40 amp fuse was burned badly, but never blew. Changed fuse holder to a rubber sealed one and no more issues.
