Any suggestion on flares and exhaust. My fenders are already cut out. And I have stock exhaust so I'm just looking for suggestions let me know what u think

 

I would get some YJ flares they look pretty sweet on an XJ
I'd Go with flowmasters for exhaust

 

So yj flares and what series flowmaster for an aggressive sound?

 

pretty much the most straight 1 cylinder or just straight pipe it if its legal in your state

Yeah it us legal to straight pipe it. I was thinking maybe a cherry bomb glass pack with no cat.. also I need an affordable 4.5 inch lift any suggestions on that

 

Check out the Bushwacker Cut-Out flares. Just put these on my '98 XJ. Also, had to modify the exhaust syst. for the rear coil conversion. Went with flowmaster (- cat). Big difference in the sound. I like it.

 

From experiance if you want as loud of an exhaust as possible but with a clean sound get the flowmaster 10 series race muffler...it sounds bad *** to say the least. It has a nice mean idle and when you hit the throttle she roars like no other, i get compliments all the time

 

Do I have to get that 10 series on line? Or do u know a good place to get it

 

For the lift i'd suggest looking on ebay for a 3" lift, with add a leafs, and bigger coils then also buy 1.5" spacers and shackles

Just remeber to get some bad a$$ shocks
get you a good deal

 

I got mine online, should run you about $60...I asked for one at the local speed shop and the guy didn't even know flowmaster made a 10 series plus they had to order it anyway, which came up to about $80...so i definatly suggest online.
