My shackle angle is at a vertical 90 degree angle. My lift specs are 3.5" with 3.5" leaf springs, and a stock shackle in the back. In order to fix shackle angle, would i be better off going with a boomerang shackle or a extended shackle, keep in mind i dont really want to add too much more lift. I was looking at the Rustys .75 Shackle and the JKS Boomerang Shackle.

Neither one of those will fix the angle, only clearance. To fix the angle you have to change top or bottom position.

These are liquid iron's relocation brackets, they work great.

Most of the Standard shackle relocation brackets will add .75-1.5" of lift. I am in the process of designing some that will net no extra lift. But they are not released yet.

Look into getting some shackle relocation brackets. Rough County makes a set that only adds 1" or so of lift. HD Off Road Engineering makes a set from 1/4 inch steel for about the same price.

HD offroad brackets are the way to go, i got them and they are pure beef. The RC brackets are junk imo, they have no form of sideways support and over time will pretty much rip the shackle box off of the unibody, The pic is of my friends xj with the rc brackets, look for yourself...

my liquid iron brackets gave me around 1.5" lift. the rear sits noticeably taller than the front.

A little note. They will require cutting off of most of the stock shackle box. But will be bolt on with the recommended option of welding too. Good things take a little time.

We have been doing some brain storming and this is what we have come up so far for a Low Profile Shackle Relocation Kit. There isn't anything else like this on the market that we have found so far, so we are starting this idea from scratch. Of course like expected, most of the existing shackle box will have to be cut out. Let us know what you think, your contructive feedback is always appreciated.
