I'm retrofitting a headliner and overhead console from a 92 that i got from the JY into my 85. I have searched and searched but can't find any specific info for this mod. I found 97+ into 91-96, i found 91-96 into 87-90, but nothing for the older models. What was the first years the put overhead consoles in? Would my 85 have the harness in it already like some of the others? Mine just has the dome light with two pushbutton activated map lights and it has the lighted mirrors in the visors. I think I can figure out how to wire those up to the new console, but what about the temp sensor and compass readout? Any one see or have any info on swapping this into the older models?
