Default Do I need a drop pitman arm?

I'm installing a 4.5 lift and I will be using the RC forged track bar. This track bar kit comes with a new bracket that will drop the mounting point as well. RC says I need a drop pitman arm to go with the TB kit. just trying to find out if I actually need one or its just recommended

Start by getting rid of that toothpick of a trackbar, and buy something better.
Ultimately, you will not know if a drop pitman arm is necessary or not until you install your parts and drive it.
Mount to mount your drag link and trackbar should run parallel +/- a couple degrees.
Don't just throw parts at it. As long as everything is good after it is all buttoned up and there is no bump steer, then you will not need one.

A ZJ pitman arm will give a one or two inch drop and is dirt cheap at the junkyard.

The forged track bar is very well built you must be referring to the original heim joint joint track bar. The bracket is pure beef along with the track bar. I'm not a RC fan either but some of their new stuff is getting better.
