I just installed their adjustable upper and lower control arms today. However, I also installed their control arm drop bracket. On the front of their drop bracket instructions they said if you have a 4.5' lift your lower lengths should be 15.75' from hole to hole, and uppers should be 15' from hole to hole. That's what I would go with, if they're too short then try an extra quarter of an inch.

Right away? No, but my steering was all jacked up after driving around for a bit and I needed to buy a Heavy Duty Trac Bar to compensate for my lift. The new trac bar required a longer drop pitman arm. I had a shop do it cause death wobble almost sent me into a ditch

But since you have the X flex kit, it's gonna come with a drop pitman arm and a forged trac bar. Definitely put both those on cause your steering is gonna be out of wack afterwards. Probably gonna need a pitman arm puller, autozone rents those out. Maybe even some propane if your bolts are rusty haha.

If you dont have drop brackets your arms need to be longer than stated. Iirc RC has a chart on their site. Drop brackets compensate for lift and move the arm mounting points forward.
