3" lift
I was looking at putting a 3" lift on my xj and was wondering what should I replace or can I still use some of the stock suspension stuff? My brother and I just did his wj with an IRO kit and he said to just buy the same stuff that came with his kit such as the adjustable track bar and steering stabilizer.

Sweet thank you, we were talking about it today and didn't know what I should get besides the track bar and stabilizer. The kit also includes a 1" transfer case drop I know I'll lose some clearance but is it worth having it?

If your steering and lift is in good condition you really don't need a stabilizer but if you must just buy a cheap one all they do is hide other problems anyway. Do buy a lift kit with full leafs and coils and do that part right in the beginning.
If you use a "quality" entry level 3" lift using high quality full leafs and coils like the Rustys 3" kit made in NA all you should need is an Adj. Track Bar as it comes with shocks and all hardware and the cost is only $438.
With trimmed fenders and a 15x8" wheel with 3.75-4" of BS you can run a 33x12:50 tire if wanted. Wheel size is important for clearance and airing down on the trail for traction/ride quality I have ran 31x10;50 to 35x12:50's on this wheel size.
An SYE is always a good idea and most of the time required but I ran a 3" lift with a TC drop kit for a while, till I installed my SYE.
