Default Do i need adjustable ball joints?

I have a 99 Cherokee XJ, 6.5" rough country lift and 32x11.50" tires, should I get adjustable ball joints?

If so, how adjustable?
I see some that are 1-3/4*, some that are 0.5*, 1-1/2*??

They are not adjustable they are offset. You only need them if your axle is screwed up and something is bent. Typically a bent upper c.

Lifting a Cherokee doesn't change your caster and you can't change your camber unless your ball joints are bad

Yes it does. If you lift and don't put on longer CA, then your pinion will be raised to high up. And I say pinion but also obviously you'll have more negative caster

Sorry I didn't read how much lift he had. So yes, the caster will be changed if the control arms aren't long enough but I'm sure with that lift, the proper control arms were supplied anyways so I doubt the angle was changed much if any at all

With that lift he should have LAs. My point is, caster does change with lift until you properly set the CAs

I would hope he has Adj. U/LCA's on a 6 1/2" if not a long arm which is what it should be anyway.

Does anyone even sell a 6 1/2" short arm kit? Only to those who don't know about doing a lift to begin with, I would think.

Lol. There are those few you know. And iirc, there was someone posting pics of their jeep a few weeks back and they had a, questionable, 8" lift with drop brackets
