And I could show you a number of bent rods, broken pistons, Turbos missing the shaft and exhaust wheels.. I know $### happens. I just wanted to make sure that was the case here. And you're not trying to tell me that a washer isn't needed for a slotted hole, are you? Again, I know bigger is better. But to say my family's life is in danger driving down the road, or going down the trail is a bit extreme.

in my opinion its an inferior product, and i will leave it at that. there is no changing the minds of iron rock owners, they all just have to find out for themselves.

Inferior at one mounting point. You have not said anything about any other area of the lift.

The kit is worth every penny! It out shines re. I've had people that work at 4 wheel places in awe because my kit goes further up a ramp than their buggy.

Although (lol) I have to make a skid plate.

the arms are strong, mounting points marginal (id weld it if i was forced to run it), still a radius arm despite what iron rock says. it uses factory rubber bushings at every mounting point, which will and do wrap upon acceleration and braking nevermind offroad. pretty sure i touched up on those things.


as will any longarm with long enough shocks, and other components. iron rock seems to be obsessed with useless amounts of flex. but hey, flex sells easier than offroad capability for most people.

pointing out the faults in certain kits makes me a "hater"? This is the internet, the OP wanted opinions, and here i am giving my opinion.

heims, rockkrawler joints, currie jhonny joints, are all solid choices. as for bushings, its not the bushing itself thats the issue, its the fact that they use them in a design with 3 mounting points on the axle

currie makes a cartridge joint that fits in the upper control arm mount that runs a 7/16" bolt which is a significant upgrade. rock krawler runs 9/16" uca bolts.

any heim with the right misalignment spacer will run 9/16" or 5/8".
