My friend got the IRO 5.5 long arm kit last year and it performed well enough that over the winter I got the long arm upgrade for my xj. It is a stout kit and performs extremly well. I am hard on my jeep and have beat it up for the last 3 weekends in a row. I DO NOT have a pre runner sand dune jumper. I crawl rocks and trail ride. My jeep is locked on 33s. IRO is a great company to deal with. I have used several of their products and am inpressed with the beef. KTM racer is in every single "IRO sucks thread" crying his little baby eyes out. I bet 99% of the people that have the IRO long arm set up are happy, me included. I dont know if I can say I would out flex a buggy but a picture does speak a thousand words.

I can say that I made it two feet further up the ramp than ANYONE else in our group on Saturday.

a picture is worth a thousand words.....nice pic btw. I'm getting a RC 4.5" lift kit this summer, but only cause I'm getting it dirt cheap (used ish), and will eventually upgrade to either the 5.5 or 6.5 LA from IRO when I have the money to do so.

just trying to give the original posters my opinion seeing as thats what they ask for, and im backing that opinion up with facts. if anything every iro owner puts up a fit when they realize their money was better spent elsewhere and they try to back up thier purchase with "well it works for me and i beat the pewp out of my jeep" which is fine. If it works for you it works for you. I'm just giving my opinion and it isnt coming from nowhere.

It is the weakest kit on the market
It is not a 3 link
It does wrap with the 3 bushings.
The caster adjuster is the cheesiest way to adjust the caster out there
A 10mm bolt keeping your axle from flopping around is a poor choice.

These are simply facts. I'm not making any of this up. Get over it.

well this thread has run its course, the op made a decision, and the bickering will never get anywhere.
