Whats your caster angle like? At 4.5" without UCAs it's likely it's off enough to create some vibes.
I'd stay away from any shop that's telling you to trim your driveshaft. Finding vibrations in a recently lifted vehicle is pretty common. You're introducing new parts and changing angles of everything in a suspension system that's 20 years old. There's going to be some fine tuning.
