Default Custom flat fender solution

On my 98 xj I did some fender trimming and I'm in need of some fender flares. Any ideas of cheap and custom ways to go about this would be very helpful.

Lawn Edging.

jk, lol.

Just pick up some cheap ones and cut them to flat like I did. Or if you're good with a heat gun you can avoid some cutting and just roll them out.

Solution 3: ebay, CL, here, other jeep forums that aren't as cool.

Cool yeah that's the way I'm probably going to end up going. Lawn edging? If it's in reference to my cut fenders I like them. I'm doing this on a budget.

Some folks really do use plastic lawn edging.
Not gonna say it looks good....but they do use it.

It's cheap and functional. But definitely not the most aesthetic.

XJwonders made a neat set of flat flares using gutter trim, looks much better than lawn edging if you ask me.

Ah I understand. What the hell though might be a quick thing to get me by for now. My tires stick out a lot and those swampers just toss baseball size clumps constantly.

Here the page in his build thread of his Jeep where he shows them. I really like the rear, the front is a little odd though.
