Well idk i thought alot of people ran them no problems.i bought a 3 inch hole saw today. i probably just keep factory box and route the 3inch inlet in the cowl.that filter was just sittin in the garage and i thought about it.

So i have had this home brew about a year and half. It has the only filter I could find local to fit. I noticed my throttle was sticking and found parts of the paper filter caught in the TB. Not sure how it got that wet since the passenger side is covered. But regardless, anyone know if a cotton cone style filter I can fit in that small area. Has to have a a 3" inlet, and I think the max diameter of the base is like 5"
