This summer my buddy and I are going to build up a Comanche. We want around 3-3.5" lift, but I dont want an add-a-leaf. im thinking bastard pack will be the best bet since i cant seem to find any 3 or 3.5 inch comanche full leaf packs (note: i know cherokee packs wont work since comanche packs are longer)(other note: if anyone has a link to a set of comanche 3.5 inch leaf packs, please post a link). what would be the best leaf combo for a bastard pack? what would i pull them from in the junkyard? this wont be happening for a while just trying to gather as much info as i can. thanks!

Forget the "bastard pack" if possible and install the entire leaf spring if possible, I'm running a full set of S10 leaf springs in my Cherokee, the are 3.5" longer IIRC, and pleasantly firmer. I modified the hanger buckets moving the mounting points forward, and drilled an offset hole in the spring perch in order to install them!
Dramatic improvement over the factory springs, stiff enough to tow my boat, and the extra length makes for what I consider to be a nice ride for hwy driving!
If it was possible I would have installed even longer springs!!!

Hells creek sells full comanche packs. The metric one tons net around 2-3 inches, depending on the sag you have already. Im gonna get these a little after the holidays and ill take some before and after pics for you. Im only looking for 3-3 1/2 in lift too on my comanche. Also, lookup stuff on the comanche club, this site is great for all around knowledge of the front half of our trucks, but CC is a wealth of info for comanche specific things. Goodluck, hope this helped.
