Default cherokee lift on wagoner

does anyone know if a cherokee budget lift will fit on a 88 wagoneer? im looking at buying a trailer for my wife and dont need anything to big i was thinking either 3'' coil spacers with shackles and add aleafs or 3''coils w/shackles and blocks/addaleafs im just not sure if they will fit ive heard the only difference bettween a cherokee and wagoneer is the front grille and lights so in theory they should bolt right up right? any other info on wagoneers apprieated thanks guys

Yes, everything is the same minus front clip and the rear taillights.

Yeah the Wagoneer and Cherokee are both XJs. The only difference between the two are cosmetic stuff.

As for your lift choice, I wouldn't run shackles because the stock XJ leafs usually sag a little.

Just get a lift kit with an add a leaf (which is what I did). The add a leaf will prevent sagging to some extent and keep a nice curve in the leaf pack.

I'm running a zone offroad 3 inch lift, and it's only $290 which isn't a bad deal considering it comes with shocks, coils, and the add a leaf.

good luck man.

Thanks! It's still getting there, I can't wait to have it painted black. I'm going for the whole "murdered out" look haha.
