Camber issue?
1999 Cherokee XJ limited 4x4.
I installed a 4.5 suspension lift. Since then the outside of my front tires are being ate to death. Has been aligned twice, we checked the ball joints, no play there. What else can I witch hunt to figure this out? I'm sure the tires will be trashed by the time I figure this out. I've had people tell me it's because I have **** tires. They were on it when I bought it, and I've never heard of them, but it's hard to believe that it's just tires, again you can visually see it sitting on the outside of the tires. ANY help is much appreciated.

Yes you can have a camber issue since most lift kits don't have the proper length control arms to correct that. You can take your tire off and get a free leveling app for you phone and lay it across the top of the top ball joint and check it. OEM is 5° toward the rear.

Outside edge tire wear would probably be excessive toe in. Even if the camber is way too positive on a straight axle front end they wouldnt be getting chewed up unless they were pointed different directions.
Any competent alighnment shop would not let your vehicle out of the shop without either making sure the alighnment is right or telling you what parts are damaged preventing a proper alignment.
