Goo gone or mineral spirits work. Secret is too soak the rags and the adhesive, add lots of rubbing. It is not going to be a easy job, will take many hours of soak and rub.

Heat it with the wifey's hair dryer and the trim will peel right off. Then use the Goo Gone to remove the remaining adhesive.

An actual heat gun works way better if you can get your hands on one.

Otherwise that'll do.

I found the hair dryer to be efficient. Don't own a heat gun.

It works, like I said. But its not the best tool for the job. Its meant to dry hair, not to remove carparts.

But it will indeed work.
