Default Best Upgrades?

Best upgrade to go from what I got here. Anything. Already in the works of getting sway bar disconnects and upgraded steering. Want to make it a daily and off road capability just stuck on what else to do. TIA

Depends on what it has? Give us a list of everything you know of that’s done to it and any specs you have maybe some pictures of what’s underneath already. Lift, tire size, axles, gears, front end, etc…

As it sits right now it can already go anywhere you want aside from higher difficulty trails. All depends on what you’re going for and how long you want it to last doing it.

Spartan lockers in both axles is by far one of the most cost-effective upgrades you can do.

Rock rails to protect the rockers. Hit the rockers on a rock or tree and you may not be able to open or close your doors again.
You got 33 inch tires, did you regear? If you have an automatic, install a LARGE tranny cooler , preferably on the side with the electric fan, add an electric fan override switch, install a tranny temp gage to allow you to protect the tranny from over heat, specially is you have not regeared.

dunno what year, but on a pre 98, a Trans temperature gauge is the best mod I made on my 96

Added that after cooking my trans, and since have kept an eye on it, would have exceeded maximum acceptable temp several times without it

Post 97 dont have a port I believe, my 96 had a torx plug which I removed to accept sender

Frankly, it looks pretty good for most DD and mild/moderate off pavement use. If you want more upgrades while keeping to that then I'd consider anything that extends the longevity of the vehicles life. Replacing worn or cracked bushings anywhere you find them. Treating any rust areas. Collecting of a few common spare parts like TPS sensors or CPS sensors, ball joints, etc. etc. As far as an "upgrade", maybe consider beefing up the frame itself. As unibody vehicles they need all the help they can get in preventing frame damage before it happens.
