I tried it (have the Currie now and had issues with it hitting the sway bar links) and I couldn't do it- Maybe because I'm at 6.5? I don't know- I did not like the way if flopped side to side going hitting bumps on the road. Plenty on here do and plenty more say that your risking everyone's life. I personally just didn't like the way it feels.

shocks are going to have way more to do with it than whatever steering you're running

I was just referring to the lack of a sway bar. I have Blistein 5125s- I guess I might sway a lot because they are somewhat soft. Does not happen with the sway bar on though.

if you run decent shocks and the rest of your setup is dialed in then you should be able to run without a swaybar. bump in the road doesn't sound like a sway bar issue anyway. if you're having bad body roll around a turn I'd blame a sway bar. bumps in the road was bad caster angle in my case

but hey. everyone's preference is different. some people will still want a sway bar and there's nothing wrong with that

I have a 6.5 long Arm kit rough country so it has the shocks that came with that kit I just wondered how many people ran no sway bar and felt ok with it

if they are white body shocks you may want to keep the sway bar

I haven't run a sway bar in months. im on a 4.5 inch lift and 33's. you just need to take off/on ramps and turns a little slower. you'll get used to it

I have the FST heims and track bar. So no sway bar. It takes some getting use to, but like others have said good shocks will make a big difference. I have cheapo RC shocks so I sway quite a bit. Adjustable shocks are on my wish list

I drive my jeep like a race car so I guess I'll have to change my habits

Or get use to the looks people give you when the front end dives and rolls on corners.

We have lots of stupid round about intersections and at first I had to go slow, but I have learned how the jeep reacts so I can roll through them now pretty fast and the jeep leans quite a bit but no where near being dangerous

Running a custom 3 link LA w/ an otk setup. Was going to relocate the sway bar mounts when I got the axle under the jeep along with a steering stabilizer. Rides great so I left them off

Depends if your going to reem out the knuckles or use the weld in inserts. I did the inserts and it wasn't too bad. Just make sure you have sharp bits and drill straight
