33s will be a good test platform. I'll be testing your original Aussie locker in a HP Dana 30 with 35s soon. I've been running with 33s with no problems for two years now. Now lets see how the locker holds up switching to 35s.
I'm sure I won't have any problems.

ran my aussie hard on 31's, 33's and 35's the last 8years, changed the springs/pins one time, no problems....

Wow! That's good info to hear. At what point did you have to change the springs, what was the locker doing or not doing before the change was made?

Added edit: How often do you get off road? Rocks? When I'm back in the states, if I'm lucky I'll get off road about once a month.

I basically sunk the rear end & it got filled with sand & mud, drove it that way for a while until the bearings started making noise. Only got the springs and pins in case my axle guy lost or damaged them rebuilding the rear....

If you are looking for a rd cherokee i have a 99 xj with a rubicon express 3.5 inch lift and 33 inch tires. I am a Aussie locker dealer here in central California. Just Order a rear Aussie locker for new rear diff with 4.10 going in.
