Default bed lining the whole cherokee

so i talked to a guy about spraying my whole cherokee with bed liner and he told me $1500 to sand, prep, and paint.

What i was wanting to know is how many gallons do yall think i need?

Does anyone know how many sqaure feet a cherokee is? it says it will do 60 square feet or 1 6 foot bed.

This is the fifth or sixth time this has been covered.
Rough sand it yourself.
Get the gallons
2 will be plenty, may even have some left.
Tape off anything u don't want painted
Roll on a light coat
once dry, roll on a thick coat

So i should be able to paint the entire 4 door jeep cherokee, bumpers, grille, ect with 2 gallons of raptor liner?

I would rough sand it, wash it, dry it, then spray on a light coat, then another heavy coat?

I been trying to find a jeep cherokee with the whole thing sprayed

There are numerous pics online and on the forum

Most folks roll it on cause it gets a thicker more durable finish
And the spray doesn't cover as much for the price
And if you do the grill, bumpers, etc... You may cut it close on paint

And I think he meant "hot"
Like, sexxxy
Not warm
Lol

Another thread said that 2 gallons of Monstaliner is like $240 and that's more than enough to paint the entire XJ?

Chris, for spraying I will ask my buddy who sprayed mine its been awhile but I am sure he can give a good estimate. As for 1500 to sand tape and spray is a decent price. I paid 600.00 but I sanded it all down and he just taped and sprayed. Mine was sprayed with a Rhinoliner off brand which my take more or less to do than the product you may end up choosing to use. I havent any advice on rolling it on other than the prep is the key. As far as getting hot. I put spacers on the hood hinges. Some people may freak out about this but its the way I vented the engine. Seems to work well with living in south east Tx.

So how nice is it having the entire XJ bed lined? Pros or cons? A friend bought the 2 gallon kit, hasn't used it, and is selling his Jeep. So he'd sell me his kit for $200, and I'm very tempted..

Don't do it... Looks great when you first do it, but dirt sticks to really easily and is very hard to clean

Using a roller and doing two thick coats this took 2/3 of a gallon of Herculiner (to do both sides.) Bedliner is difficult to clean and will fade without a UV resistant coat. Regardless, it does it's job. I imagine it would take more than 2 gal to do the entire XJ, but maybe not.

Kinda sounds like my current paint job lol. I have some flat black that always has dirt to it, and when I wash it, wax looks like *****, and just gets dirty again. So I'm used to it. I thought it'd be easier to clean, since it's bed liner. Or is that just cleaning mud off?
