entire xj bottom silver is paint, held up well, the rest has fadded and its hot

 

I would imagine it would fade and really be hot as the rough finish would absorb even more heat, none reflected for sure. I guess it would not be my cup of tea for sure plain old paint here of some kind.

Sounds like if you had it to do over that your choice wouldn't be the same either as far as bedlining you whole Jeep.

 

Anybody use Mostaliner?

A friend costed his wrangle in it, suppose to not fade etc for 5 years plus they have color options instead of just black or painting over black

 

I bedlined my. Entire xj with a gallon and a half. Roughly five coats. Walmart bedliner has been holding up fine and I've had it full of water several times

 

Rolled Monstaliner on my 5.9. 2 gallon kit was about $260 or so shipped, and it was more than enough for the exterior. Did this back in February and it's seen a lot of hot sun since then and it's still looking great. Monstaliner has a 5 year UV protection.
