The 98 is 2wd and was seeing if i could swap my good transmission and tcase. But it looks like the wiring wont work.

I was just asking if the 87 transmission would work in a 98. Either yes or no, pretty simple.

In your eyes, yes. What we saw was rather unclear. Simple to you. Complicated to those of us who are sticklers on giving accurate suggestions.
