Hey everyone. I really need help with fixing the jeep I just bought. It seems to be having a lot of electrical issues. Its a 1997 Cherokee sport. First off, it sat for 2 years before I bought it and the wires have been chewed on by animals over by the engine. The jeep was idling fine but was stalling after stopping at a stop sign (it's automatic), and the break lights work. Now, the jeep isn't really idling, keeps stalling and the tail lights are out but break lights are working. The ac and heat aren't working either. All the power window buttons on the doors (except the driver side) don't work either. Also, the radio power turns on but doesnt play.

It's either I rewire the whole jeep and spend 2K$ or someone helps me lol.

You might liketo look at the multi-plug that is bolted into the interior fuse box under the steering wheel. This gets corroded quite badly at times, you will need to clean up both the male connectors and the female ones using a very small dremel type tool with a thin brush and a thin probe attachment. Apart from that, there are other connections, notably the earth wires attached to the the block near the dipstick which can also give problems, so you might start there.
