I ran 31s for a year with no lift and it was fine until I took it wheeling lol. Honestly if you just want to raise it you can get by with a 2inch spacer up front and shackles from autozone (yes Im being serious) It'll end up being about 80 bucks but your geometry wont get jacked up too bad and would clear 31s fine. Teraflex 1 3/4 spacers with the insulators and p/n 13-4100 from any parts store will boost you up enough for 31's and it cost so little. 25 a spacer and the shackles are like 30. I have spacers on mine and hate them tho. They make a ton of noise but for 80 I went from 2" to 4" so it works until I get my 6.5
Good luck with whatever you go with!!!

I have 235 dura traces with 2" BB and no sway bar links upfront.. (I gotta do something about that soon..) I pulled the flares off, too. It tends to rub the top of the wheel well just a bit, mostly where the flare of the shock mount is... But it seems that a 2" BB is about as big as ya wanna go without putting an actual lift on. But there is no law on that.
if you did the combo of a 2" BB and a 3.5" you could get 33's with minimal trimming. But for 31's and under I guess trimming could be optional? idk.. My 02
