So I was talking to a shop today and they said they can do a cat back exhaust with 2.5in piping and a flowmaster exhaust for $200. Is this a good price? Also I'm looking for a good sound, but nothing too obnoxious becuase this is still my daily driver.

How hard is it to install? Is this 2.5in? Is there any welding involved?

Not very hard u need a few adapter pipes off your cat to get to 2.5 then just run the muffler and run your tailpipe...and no u don't have to weld

It doesn't matter whether your county does inspections or not. If you live in the United States it is a federal requirement that you have a catalytic converter. Removing it will not improve your performance and only puts you at risk of getting a hefty fine.

And if u have like an old lets say BMW from the 70's and your cat had pellets in it the it would have been a good idea to cut off and switch to the honey combe....you have the honey combe you flow rate is fine and id keep that bad boy on there.

i like the apn headers also (thats wat i have). as for the cat, theres no reason to take it off. minimal gain in performance if any and $200 is a good price

Hey if I just buy a muffler do I need to weld it to the cat or any ways around that because local store sells for like 20$ and was figuring to just install myself if no welds needed Also If i just install the muffler right after the cat, can i just dump it right there? No need for more piping right??

Decrease, the engine will spontaneously combust.

U might also need a universal hanger to add to the end to keep everything tight

Thanks for quick reply! But if I just dump the muffler...will that be bad if I go thru a foot deep puddle or something on the trail? or maybe have to pass through a little mud...?
