hey I got another question....
So I am ordering THIS CAT
and want to go from that, no muff.
My question, if I got to the junk yard and pick a good shaped chunk of stock exhaust pipe from the muff back and weld in a piece for the missing chunk....
How much better would a custom cat back exhaust pipe be? any power flow difference that is between stock and custom bends....
I originally wanted to exit right in front of the rear tire with a tip angled up. but I think id crush it?
like so out the side

still that tip would be good out the back too i think.
opinions?

Would it help to go 3" just from the catback though? I had thought of this, I know a shop that it would only be like $60 to do it.
I was just trying to do it on my own and using a chunk of stock peice was the only way that would happen.

Straight piped mine from the cat back today. So got done and really haven't driven it that much. So far. Its quiter than a cherry bomb turbo wile driving. And at 45ish there's no grimlen in the backseat. At idle, its louder than a tubro but not by much. But with HEAVEY accleration its a lot louder. And if you rev it up with it 'de-revs'(?) It sounds sweet. Kinda like a free flowing exhust I guess. So far I like it.
