I'm confused.
Thought you replaced the front pipe.

Yes, I replaced 53440(pipe) and 16117(converter), but the flange on 52304(front cat) has partially rusted away. where as I mentioned, the mounting holes are no longer complete "holes". The outer edges of all 3 just rusted away. Pretty amazing considering how thick those flanges are. You could even tell that there were bolts there. Just a glob of rusted metal.

Got it. Flange on the front cat.
In my store, I work at a Napa, we do have those flange repair things.
But they seem to be 2 hole ones. You can see them here.

https://www.napaonline.com/en/search...rer=vehicleAdd

If you pour through the listings you will see 3 holes one but not the kind that split open.
Thinking they are more for being welded on.
Did find this:

https://exhaustdirect.com/FFS200-3-001S.html

No idea if it is what you need.
My guess is buy another gasket and that will give you the dimension/spacing of the holes that you need.
Then you will just have to pour over specs till you find one.
If there is an easier way to locate one I'll be damned if I know.

In case someone is looking for exhaust sound videos, here's a Cherokee with a 4.0, super 44, banks header and no cat. There is also a video of a stroker with the same exhaust, and a 4.0 with a cam and a thrush welded on the same channel.

Default '00 with Cali emissions broken flange at pre-cat/crossover pipe

00 with Cali emissions 🙄 So the flange connection from the dual cats to crossover pipe was leaking due to a bad gasket. Tried breaking apart the rust welded bolts to replace the gasket and instead took the flange off the cat side by accident lol. So my next move is replace the dual cat and crossover and just have new parts on it to end it. My other question is do I just say screw it and put on some banks headers as well while I'm at it? I have a borla cat back already. Stock cat tho.

Looking for some one to tell me this is a bad decision lol.

Default High Flow Cats

I currently have my exhaust straight piped from the cat back ( I believe the cat is stock). Any recommendations on cats, I really don't care how loud it is.

Hello, new here. Can you (or anyone for that matter) provide me with a make and part number for the exhaust "front pipe" that goes in-between the header and cat, that is 2.5 inch diameter, stainless steel, High flow, mandrel bent, for a 1998 Jeep XJ 4.0? I am not interested in the walker kink bent style. I believe magnaflow part number MAG-23227 for a TJ may fit?? Has anyone utilized this part number or have another alternative? Thank you.

I couldn't find one myself. Only option is to Fab one up. I landed up installing the walker since theirs no real power gain. I've already got a banks header, hi flow cat & a super 44 so she sounds as good as its gonna get.

Any good muffler shop can fab any needed part and weld it in place for for relatively a small amount of cash

Default Renix Header Question

My xj 4.0 is going to need exhaust work as soon as I get the leaky gas tank replaced. Can someone educate me on the ins and outs of the renix exhaust replacement, yes, headers, cat and muffler. Thanks
