Not a lot of info on the late model exhaust manifolds around. So can I just ask if they have the same cracking tendency that the others do? My assumption is no.

Yes, thats exactly what i am attempting to do.
The previous owner installed a 40 series muffler and it's loud AF. I have been planning to install the QTP cutout, but then i found the noweeds design, which is pretty badass, just $$. I just wanted to see if anyone else had done something like this or had any input.

I also have a crack I my manifold. I was discussing with my mechanic about replacing the Ex Man and he told me not to buy the Banks manifold because they were very difficult to install. He suggested I get a Dorman manifold. I would be interested to hear your experience with the installation of the Banks unit if you already have one.

Can anyone share any experience they have with these, as well as telling me if the catalytic is the correct one for bolt on installation (I don't know inlet/outlet diameter, as it isn't shown where ever I look):

MAGNAFLOW DIRECT FIT CAT part #23226 (ALSO, is this a high flow cat? I'd like one, but not if it's gonna drone a lot or make being in the cab unbearable @ highway speeds....I've rode in rigs like this, really don't like it, lol)
BANKS POWER MONSTER EXHAUST #51360---2.50 tubing---I chose because of cost; construction, and reviews that stated it was not over the top loud.
I am lead to believe these are direct fit/bolt on for my application, which is something I'm also looking for.

Hoping to make my jeep breathe a lil' better than stock; maybe increase low end grunt a lil; not expecting a huge hp increase, and sound halfway decent without making me even more tone deaf, lol.. Any info, experiences with this brand, or other options would be much appreciated

Has any one done a side exit exhaust. I wanted to take the exhaust up through the floor pan after the muffler and dump it out the side above the frame rail or uni body rail. will probably wrap it where it is inside the cab to keep from any burns. Just asking if someone has already done it.

Default RT off road header

Just wondering if anyone has or is running one of these headers. Seams to be very good quality. 304 ss and you can get with zinc coated flange or the better ss flange. Price seams to be pretty good too if you shop around a bit. Really thinking of purchasing this unit just wanting to see if anyone is running one and how they like it

Guys, what would you advise for a 87 wagoneer.

I want more muscular noise at Idle and low speed acceleration.

But NOT at highway speed.
I already have far too much noise at 130km/h

while asking the question, I wonder if at this speed I can ear the muffler anyway, above air, engine, tires, etc.

Thanks for your comments

I have a 96 SE and I recently purchased an external manifold and I am planning on sending my external manifold to have a Jet Hot coating applied to it. Its supposed to reduce temps by 60%. Of all the rest of the exhaust system, should I purchase all the other items and have them coated as well or maybe just the down pipe? If I should make a purchase where should I buy? Thanks.

Having a real hard time believing that.

Yes, sorry, I wasn't trying to slag you - I have a hard time believing their claims. If their coating reduces heat by 60%, I'm going to get them to coat my house.

That would be great if they could do that, but imagine the cost. I have heard of coatings for tile roof's but not enough to have them applied to my roof or send the info to anyone else. Musk is supposedly behind solar tiles to replace the roof tiles. Worth looking into.
