I went with the Banks revolver made of 409 stainless steel olso the header is designed for the #6 cylinder longer tube inside the collector(power pickle). Ive done some research and found out that the #6 cylinder is the one that fires the most and so thats why I went with the revolver

Been reading exhaust threads because my newly purchased 99 XJ has rusted exhaust and a hole in the muffler. I am skipping the down pipe and cat replacement for now. I bought this XJ with intention to use it mainly as a "farm truck" so I may end up just doing away with the cat. No inspections here, so no big deal as far as I'm concerned. I called my local Advanced Auto Parts today and ordered the Thrush Welded Muffler 17650 and Dynomax Tailpipe 44171. The guy on the phone said the tailpipe was $57 but "on sale this week for $33.99", so I went down there at lunch and turns out it wasn't coming up as being on sale, but he gave me the price anyway! Also used a $5 OFF coupon I got from a flyer in the mail, not bad deal for around $75.

I'm gonna be ordering some new exhaust for my 99 DD
I'm going to get the Magnaflow muffler and 2.5" tail pipe from performance-curve.com I want it be quiet when I'm not on the throttle.
My real question is, if I have 210k on the (assuming) stock cat, should I get a new one? And if I do is "spun" the same as hi-flow?

Would a 3" cat be much better though? I figured its where its the hottest.
Thanks. I wasn't sure on the lingo. I'm getting it from PC so I should be good on flow.

3" will be a pain to step up to from the stock 2.25 pipe so I would just do 2.5

Totally worth it.
