You mean like the few pops after you let off the throttle?

On my small block v8 with an x pipe there's more of a burble though there is some crackle. The x pipe also smooths it out a little. That's with the original spintech 3000. As you get less muffling with the 6000 and 9000 there will be more and more crackle and POP.

Awesome. If I don't like straight pipe I'll put a spintech on there

I've never heard a Spin Tech in real life but I haven't found one yet on YouTube that I liked. I won't speak of what I don't know, but I would definitely try to hear one live before I bought one to go on a 4.0..

My brand new (to me) Flowmaster 40 "Cackles" a bit when you let off the throttle, it has a very nice, "deep pulsing" kind of V8-ish tone...

Can't argue with $60 installed, either. Nice thing about Flowmasters is that chambered mufflers aren't bad to buy used

Just for historical reference to searchers, has anyone ever heard a Cherrybomb Turbo or Extreme on a Jeep before?

Anybody know if a chrome tip on an XJ with a downturn pipe (pipe is downturned not the tip) would look any good? Or would it just look really stupid?

Well, since I can't seem to find a 2.25 ID to 2.50 OD coupler ANYWHERE so I can install my cat from performance-curve, I had to go the ghetto route and make a coupler work...

Use exhaust sealer or duct tape on that or it's just another Ricer hack job

I'm having it welded in today. It won't look bad after that.

So I've been looking into headers for my 01 and the only ones I can find are the banks torque tube. Alot of people suggest apn but they only make up to 99.
