Problem with these wheels is they don't have enough backspace to run larger tires. Without spacers 31's X10.5 with 3" lift would be the biggest and they will rub the lower control arms.

Mine are 33x12.5x15 on 8" wide wheels and found the sidewall and tire shop recommendation of 35 might be a little too much based on the wear. I'm going down to 32.

I don't DD mine so I'm lucky enough to have a tiny bit of the casting nipples left so it's easy to judge wear.

Thanks for the help. saved me a bunch of time! I'll look at doing a set of 31' x 10.5 on the original wheels, give it at least 3" lift and hopefully a simple spacer will do the trick. Just using on the sand to fish fire island beaches, nothing too extreme!

I fish NY and NJ beaches a lot with my XJ, one more piece of advise to hopefully save you some more money. Airing down for the sand will only make the rubbing worse. A good set of spacer will run you $150, you can get 4 black steelies from Jegs for $200 delivered. I would go with a 3.75 backspace wheel instead of the spacers.

Alright i have a $1000 budget for my lift(tires and wheels are seperate budget). Im lookin to run 33x10.50 km2s. Trimming is expected. And i need all new leaf springs. I will someday go to 35s, but thats a long ways aways. Its a daily driver but i dont drive far, and offroading is a little of everything, mudding, trails, rock crawling. Suggestions or ideas? Ive been lookin at zone lifts.

Problem with that though is that i need an sye and a new shaft. Not too mention the RE superflex is roughly $950. No money left for double shear trac bar either.
