Sye and shafts are stupidly spendy. I dunno. I wanted it done by this summer. Im a full time college student and work 20 to 30 hours a week.

Not really. $150 bucks and a stock front shaft.

Well im not going to do a hackntap. If i do it it'll be a full sye. I know of the front shaft working but they seem so small and thin. Even compared to the stock rear shaft.

Not a hack and tap. Heres an AA sye for 190.

And the front and rear driveshafts are designed completely differently. The rear is a fixed length hollow tube DS, while the front is a solid double cardan driveshaft. Comparing those two is like comparing apples to oranges. It'll hold up just fine.

How the tire is meeting the ground. Draw a chalk line all the way across the tread of the tire and drive it for a bit then check. If its wearing in the middle, drop the pressure some.

really? i have a 90 XJ with 4.5 in lift and 32x10.50 15's and they don't rub on anything, real close though.

They'll rub the control arms if you have stock wheels. If you have aftermarket wheels or wheel spacers they wont touch them.

Oh i see. Thank you for explaining that. Just from looking they seemed the same other than the front being a double cardan. Well ill look into doing that setup.

Plus when he airs down for the beach the rears get right up on the leaf springs.
