Every jeep is different. You will need a slip yoke eliminator and drive shaft

Depends on how you do it. If you add height in the rear with a shackle relocation bracket to get a 45° shackle angle, buy 4.5" coils with a soft spring rate, a decent set of shocks & adjustable LCA's it will probably ride better.

Coil spacers and AAL will probably ride worse.

But he won't know until he lifts. I'm just saying he doesn't need to go buy an SYE and DS until the lift is installed and he determines if he needs/want it.

Granted, it should probably be planned in the "just in case" budget of the lift...along with cutting wheels, hardware & bandaids...

What is it with the heim joints always going out on track bars? Especially RC? Do a search on google and you will get a ton of them. Sounds to me like use a Moog tie rod end is a better deal than using a heim joint.

The tre on my RC track bar went bad in 9 months. I called them and and they wouldn't warranty it for me. They gave me the Moog replacement part number and that has been on for awhile now and it's still good. The Moog tre to use is for a WJ and Moog has a lifetime warranty.

That's weird. I've never had a problem with customer service and I've had mine for over a year. Though I'm getting a ruffstuff heim to replace it soon.

I currently have a RC 3" lift and the shocks are shot. I want to have more lift so I'm getting the RC 4.5" lift kit not the x series just the 500$ kit.

I agree with the part about aal and proper shackle angle, but coil spacers don't change ride quality.

Why would I need it and what would happen if I were not to get an SYE?

Your rear drive shaft may not be long enough and have bad vibes. You could try a tc drop and shims under the leaf springs

The kit comes with RC drop bushings so hopefully that will do the job until I get more money.

Maybe I just got an a$$hole on the phone when I called. He actually put me through to a different guy because he didn't even know what I was talking about. But even the second guy wouldn't help me but giving me the Moog part number for replacing it.
