ok now that i went back and read that post i made i see what you are saying. i meant to say that my jeep sagged on the driver side with stock suspension and i bought the new coils and got some aal's to fix it. and i was commenting on someone else that had bought coils that one was slightly shorter than the other. i apologize for the confusion.

I recently purchased a very nice '98 XJ w/ 31's and I believe 2" of lift. I'm going to replace all the bushings since they are dry-rotted from the Texas heat and would like to install a 3" lift kit with the shocks and leaf springs. I've done some research and still have not been able to determine if it's best to install a tc drop kit and adjustable tracking arm. My question is: Is it best to drop the tc and install the adj. arm w/ a 3" lift kit on 31's? Thx. This is a dd, btw. Don't plan on trailing too often.

The late models are a bit more picky about drive line angles but you MIGHT get away with no SYE or Drop. Install the lift and install that later if you need it.
Most people are going to tell you that you won't need the Adjustable trac bar at 3 inches but they're wrong. Get a nice adjustable trac bar and you'll be much happier.
