If you know where to get 3" shackles that are trustworthy, tell me now! I looked for some so I can get a 2" BB on the MJ, but I just saw cheap Chinese ones.

the company makes good lifts, but you want to steer clear of add a leaf (AAL) lifts - after a couple of months the leafs you add will loose the tensile strength and bend back to the arch of the leaf spring pack you add them to. You're better off spending a couple hundred more and getting the full lift pack.

Lots of guys on here have used them and I haven't heard any complaints from them... and yes the adjustable ones.

I actually have a set waiting to go on mine, but my shackle frame nuts broke loose from the welds so i'm going to have to cut in to my floor to get to them before I can get them out.

This is my t case and pinion angles.. I am going to try to shim the axle to make the pinion angle 1 to 2 degrees different from the t case angle to compensate for acceleration. I am confused on which way the pinion moves during acceleration so would I need a 3 degree shim or a 6 degree shim?

Rubicon express has a nice 3.5 kit that might be worth looking into.

Ok so I know you can't paint coil springs without it chopping over time, but what about leaf springs? They will be brand new for a 4.5" lift

You can paint all of it, but it'll get scratched/worn down over time. Just don't put the paint on too thick, or it'll crack.

Well I know this may sound stupid but I was thinking that like I could set aside a weekend once a year and take off all the suspension components/axles and clean them, check for wear, and maybe give them a fresh coat of paint. Also keep then from seizing. Good idea, bad idea, or overkill
