Yes, the sye is what allows you to use a longer drive shaft.

You can either use a front shaft or get a new one made. I think?

 

A sye kit let's you use a fixed yoke. You cannot use the factory rear drive shaft with a sye kit. Its a slip yoke and that's what you eliminating with the sye kit. You need a fixed yoke drive shaft, like the front stock Cherokee drive shaft.

You could get a longer slip yoke shaft as well but that won't work with a hack n tap or a sye kit...

No, front will not change whatsoever

 

If you install 2" shackles, no.

If you install 10" shackles, yes.

 

Are people only running JK rubi shocks on XJ's or regular ones too? Trying to find a stiffer set

 

Stiffest is 4dr JK Rubi. I used them, and I liked them.

They say 3". My rears fit at 3.5", but the fronts were maxed out at full droop with 3" coils. I bought parts used, though, so maybe they weren't really 3" coils

 

So with 3" inch coils they maxed at full droop? Sounds good then. I'd before concerned with them bottoming out on a 2" spacer for the front.

Speaking of would 2" jk coil spacers work with an xj? Guy on CL has stock shocks and 2" spacers for $160 I might see of he'll take a $100
