A sye kit let's you use a fixed yoke. You cannot use the factory rear drive shaft with a sye kit. Its a slip yoke and that's what you eliminating with the sye kit. You need a fixed yoke drive shaft, like the front stock Cherokee drive shaft.
You could get a longer slip yoke shaft as well but that won't work with a hack n tap or a sye kit...

So with 3" inch coils they maxed at full droop? Sounds good then. I'd before concerned with them bottoming out on a 2" spacer for the front.
Speaking of would 2" jk coil spacers work with an xj? Guy on CL has stock shocks and 2" spacers for $160 I might see of he'll take a $100
