ok so i posted b4. I have a 96 xj 2wd with 3 inch lift in front and 2 inch adda leaf in the rear. It has 31x10.50x15 on it right now. I have a set of 33x12.50x15 that i want to put on it so i bought 2 inch booster for the front and 2 inch shackles for the rear. (2 more inches in tires=2 more inches in lift) should all work out. I ordered a new set of shocks, i bought the 94 chevy front brake hose for extra slack and a dakota rear brake hose for extra slack. I have an adjustable track bar and i just ordered some drop down sway bar brackets. So I thought i had all the angles covered and then i see that once it goes up in front the lower control arms will hit on the I guess its a bracket where the bottom of the shock will bolt to!
question: Can i grind that some to clear? is there another solution? do i have to buy a control arm drop bracket? do I have to buy lower control arms? keep in mind its just for clearance its not gonna be offroaded or anything like that. its my daily! thnx in advance!

I'm not sure if this question belongs here, but.... here we go
I just finalized my 3" lift (pictures in my profile) and when I took it for its maiden voyage, whenever I depressed the brakes, there was a thumping feeling in the car/brake pedal. Its kind of hard to explain, almost like a spinning clunking feeling. So, I thought I would start to isolate the problem. I removed the rear DS and I still have the noise/feeling. I think that it might be one of the brake rotars or whatever they are called. We did beat one pretty hard while we were trying to get the center pin of a leaf spring into the hole in the axel bracket. That might be it.
Anybody else seen anything like this before?

one of my mount was welded onto my alxe about half an inch too close to the center so when I hit even a small bump it pinches my trans lines (found out after we put brand new ones in). would a lift kit separate them enough so this wouldn't happen?
thanx for the response so now i need lower control arms or drop brackets. I would prefer to get arms..
question : if i get the lower control arms lets say adjustables do i need uppers also? or should i get relocation brackets for uppers and lowers?

Relocation brackets usually only address the lowers

Will I need extended brake lines at 4.5"? I won't be full out flexing or off roading till I get them. But just to daily drive the stock set up should be fine right?

I know YJ lines will work for the front. Anybody know what would work on the rear? I'd like to just pick up the lines at the local parts store instead of waiting for them to be shipped.
