So I swapped a complete 4.5 lift from my 88 xj with manual everything with 231 tcase and a D35 to my 93 xj manual everything 231 and 8.25, now I have horrible vibrations above 10mph. I didn't have vibrations before the swap on either vehicles.
Any thoughts?

They are the same, I was just thinking bad ujoints but what the problem most likely is, is that the 8.25 housing is longer than the d35. Therefore even tho everything else is the same, the angle is steeper with the 8.25. My buddy and I have identical Jeeps except his had 3" and an 8.25 and mine is 4.5" and the d35. His vibes like a mo fo, mine has zero vibes

So swapping now won't fix this?

Probably not. An sye is gonna be your best bet. You could try dropping the t case but if your vibes are that bad then it may not do much good. You should check your u joints first but they are probably good

I guess im one of the few with an 8.25 that can go higher than 2.5" without vibes. At 4.5" now and not the first vibe. Only a .25-.5" tcase drop. Was 1" but got smashed. Lol

Yep, stock rear shaft with slip yoke. And I have plenty left even at full droop.
