Default Suggestions regarding Rough Country lift kit

I have decided to get the Rough Country "1984 - 2002 Jeep XJ Cherokee 3" Series II Suspension" for my 2001 Cherokee. The only questions I have is wether or not I need the "X-Flex Adjustable Arms" that are listed as an upgrade for $179.95, and what it actually does. Also, which shocks I should get. The kit comes with "N2.0", but offers "PERF.2.2" as an upgrade for $100.00. The last thing is if anyone knows the name of the person I need to contact here on the forums to get the Rough Country discount, that would be great! Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!!!

Get the adjustable arms if you plan on going higher and don't want to change arms. The xflex has a heim joint on one end which will flex better. I have the xflex arms and they are decent but imo not worth the $$. I've heard the 2.2's are crap but I have no experience with them. And the guy you want to talk to is Jason.

The N2.0 shocks are reputedly better than the P2.2 shocks. I strongly suggest upgrading to the adjustable control arms you mentioned - you can re-use them later on if you go higher, and it makes adjusting the alignment much easier. The joints are also rebuildable.

I run a stock 2000 xj right now (in college SOO budget is very limited). I was going to do just spacers and shackles for a little clearance on the trails I go camping on. But I've also found myself another set of stock leaf springs (mine are pretty much flat). I was going to just swap them but I think I'm going to use the new one with the main spring from my old one as well. I also have a free set of zj v8 front coils. So with all I that I should gain around three inches, correct? What other things am I going to need to do all of this safely?

I don't think adding a main from an xj will give you 3"

I agree with your opinion 6.5 and then adding lifts. This is all new to me what company would you recommend?
