I wouldn't recommend add a leaf if your stock leaf springs are sagging AT ALL. The add a leaf will just start sagging. If your springs are in good shape then you could go for the add a leaf. The full pack will give a much better ride and may last longer in the long run. Although I'm very pleased with my zone add a leafs.
I'm not sure yet. It depends how much the 32" tires i want to use are rubbing. SO are you saying that the kit is good or would it be worth it to spend a little more with for a nicer kit?

I went with the add a leaf to my sagging springs and yea they are still sagging but the kit was like 300 more with the full spring kits and there is a company near by that will sell me new old man emu springs for 200 so that was my plan from the start to upgrade later and still save some coin

With 32's you are also gonna trim I assume? Because you won't get much flex, if any, with a 3" lift and 32's with no trimming. What is your budget with the lift? If the add a leaf does start sagging and you aren't pleased, then you could always upgrade to some used 3" leaf packs somewhere, or make a junkyard bastard pack, which there are many threads on this forum that cover junkyard lifts.

I don't think I need long travel or long arm kits cause I live in a desert so I will be doing a lot of trail riding and not too much rock crawling. Also do you think that it would be ok to do 32" tires without regearing? Thanks in advance!
Ihave a 1990 xj with 250,000 miles an i run 35"s with stock gears an only noticed a gas mileage decrease, no power decrease.

I'm agreeing with you. I'm pleased with mine as well. Some people are not though, so I'm just giving him some things he needs to think about because believe it or not, there are people that have had add a leafs sag on them. Just not us though. Also, getting the full length add a leaf is a better option compared to the short add a leaf that some companies sell.

My budget is anything below $1000. My real goal would be to spend less than $2000 on tires/wheels/suspension. I want a bigger lift but its gonna be my daily driver and i dont want to get any rattles at high speeds. That being said I want to be able to offroad with it at the same time so I'm trying to find an inexpensive kit that is still good quality. I saw the Rough Country stuff in a magazine and it was cheap so I figured if its in a magazine it cant be that bad. Also if I got the 3" kit I was gonna get shackles for an extra 1" or 2" of lift to get some clearance. Obviously I'm new at this so anyone who could please help!

3" of lift? This claims 3.5" http://www.seriousoffroadproducts.co...ducts_id=86099 but I've heard RE stuff settles an inch higher than claimed so this would in theory give you 4"-4.5" of lift. I've heard bad things about rough country though. Just my .02

I'm sure this is a good kit but it doesn't come with shocks so after shocks its gonna be at the top end of my budget.

You don't have to get bilsteins though... Just get a set of cheap shocks from a different site for that height...

True. Like I said I'm new at this. What is the most important part of the lift kit? Like is it shocks or the springs or what?

Well... Everything. Springs will give you the actual height but you don't want/can't run stock shocks on a 4" lift. These are $200 for the set http://www.seriousoffroadproducts.co...ducts_id=88086

Ok thanks. Also the part about the daily driver and the shaking part is there some height or mixture of tires and lift that automatically gives you that or does it just depend on the jeep?
